Monte Carlo Frequently Asked Questions

Monte Carlo properties collectively offer beachfront and Boardwalk locations in Ocean City, MD, seasonal pools, complimentary Wi‑Fi and parking, and walkable access to dining, entertainment, and events.

Monte Carlo Boardwalk is directly on the boardwalk with beach access right by the hotels doors. Hotel Monte Carlo is not directly oceanfront, but is ocean block, and is accessible to the beach and boardwalk without crossing any streets. Monte Carlo Condos is one block away from the beach.

All of the Monte Carlo Buildings offer 1 complimentary parking spot per guest room. Please refer to the parking maps below. Monte Carlo Condos has parking directly under the building. *Please note that the overflow parking lots are 1-2 blocks away from the hotels. Premier Parking can be purchased during check-in (first come-first served) at Hotel Monte Carlo and Monte Carlo Boardwalk, for $25.00 per night, subject to availability. 

All Monte Carlo properties in Ocean City — Hotel Monte Carlo, Monte Carlo Boardwalk, and Monte Carlo Condos — are located approximately 8–10 miles (about a 15–20 minute drive) from Assateague Island National Seashore, making it an easy day trip for guests looking to enjoy the beaches, wildlife, and famous wild horses. As a special bonus, on clear days guests at Hotel Monte Carlo can sometimes spot the Assateague horses in the distance from the rooftop, adding a unique coastal experience to their stay.

Check-in is 4:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM across all Monte Carlo properties.

Closest airports include SBY, BWI, and PHL.

Seasonal Ocean City bus service is available. Please note that during special events, certain stops and routes may be adjusted.

Uber, Lyft, and taxi services operate in Ocean City, MD.

We have recently partnered with Sun Fun Beach service, which has stands located near our hotels on the beach. For guests staying at the Hotel Monte Carlo, they can go to the beach stand on 2nd Street. For guests staying at Monte Carlo Boardwalk or Monte Carlo Condos, they can go the beach stand on 10th Street. The special pricing for our guests is $15 for umbrellas, $10 per chair, and $5 for boogie boards. Cash only please.

Our minimum age to rent a room is 18, however, if renting a room under the age of 25, a $300 cash security deposit is required. All guests (when the primary guest is 18-24) are required to have an ID. This does not apply to families staying with children.

Our properties do not have EV charging stations. There are charging stations available at a local Wawa, as well as at the Ocean City Convention Center.

Rooms at Monte Carlo Boardwalk and Monte Carlo Condos do come equipped with full kitchens. However, rooms at Hotel Monte Carlo only come with a minifridge, sink, and microwave. All properties also supply a coffee maker and a microwave.

While there is not a dedicated workspace in our rooms, as they are more designed for leisure travel, there are tables that can be used as a workspace, along with Free high speed Wi-Fi.

None of our properties can supply a rollaway bed or a pack and play.

Rooms at Hotel Monte Carlo have streaming capabilities through our GuestCast service. Rooms at Monte Carlo Boardwalk and Monte Carlo Condos do not have streaming.

No. Breakfast is not included at any of our properties. However, breakfast is served in our onsite restaurants such as Crepe Daddy (Monte Carlo Boardwalk, and Cheese Wheel Pasta (Hotel Monte Carlo).

Yes! Hotel Monte Carlo features Cheese Wheel Pasta off of the lobby, as well as our Rooftop Bar.Monte Carlo Boardwalk features Crepe Daddy off of the lobby. All properties are located nearby many bars and restaurants, so the choices are endless! Many restaurants operate seasonally, so please check their hours before your stay.

Yes! All Monte Carlo Properties have an outdoor pool. Hotel Monte Carlo and Monte Carlo Boardwalk also have indoor pools as well. The hottub for Hotel Monte Carlo is located on the rooftop outdoors, and the hottub for Monte Carlo Boardwalk is located inside. All outdoor amenities operate seasonally.

None of our properties have a fitness center.

Yes! Both Monte Carlo Boardwalk and Hotel Monte Carlo have rooftop patios open seasonally for guest use. Monte Carlo Condos has a pool deck that is open during pool hours for guest use.

None of our properties have a market. Monte Carlo Boardwalk does sell packaged drinks at the front desk.

Yes! Both hotels host sports teams and groups.

Unfortunately, none of our properties have meeting space.

Yes, Monte Carlo properties are family-friendly.

Only Monte Carlo Condos is pet friendly. Hotel Monte Carlo and Monte Carlo Boardwalk do not accept pets.

The Monte Carlo properties are ideally located near many of Ocean City’s most popular family-friendly attractions, including the Ocean City Boardwalk, where families can enjoy arcades, rides, shops, and classic beach treats just steps away. Nearby attractions also include Jolly Roger Amusement Park with rides, water parks, and mini golf; Ripley’s Believe It or Not! for interactive exhibits; Fun City Arcade and Marty’s Playland for all-ages games and rides; and the Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum for a fun and educational experience. With beaches, amusements, and attractions all close by, the Monte Carlo properties make it easy for families to enjoy everything Ocean City has to offer.
